Niagara Parks Marina
Niagara Parks Marina was formerly a shipyard owned by the Canadian Ship Building Company. The Niagara Parks Commission purchased the property in 1957 and in 1965 decided to test public demand for a Marina and installed a timber dock. The boat docking facilities had become so popular by 1968 that a seawall, gas pump and berths for 54 boats were installed. Today, 110 seasonal boat slips exist and are operational at the facility. Site amenities include Miller’s Creek Marina Grill, ample visitor parking, bike fix-it station and water filling station, a public boat launch and separate day-use trailer parking area.
